IT’S TIME TO SHOP

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5 AT 10:00 AM

We’ll be headed off to the Solomon Pond Mall on Tuesday, December 5, leaving Westborough at 10:00 a.m. You’ll have plenty of time to shop, have lunch, check out the decorations and maybe find that perfect holiday gift!

Seating on the bus is limited so don’t delay! Making your reservation! You will be returning to Westborough around 2:00 p.m.
There will be no charge for this trip…Happy holidays!

A BARBERSHOP HOLIDAY

WEDNESDAY EVENING, DECEMBER 20 AT 7:00 PM

Please join us on Wednesday evening, December 20, at 7:00 p.m. for A Barbershop Holiday. Groups from the Worcester Men of Song will be here to entertain. They will be singing songs of the season as well as some old favorites.

All are welcome to join us. Refreshments will be served and transportation is available.

LIBRARY COMES TO TALK

The Library Director and a Board member will be at the Senior Center on Friday, December 8, at 12:30 p.m. to talk about the services the library provides that may be of interest to you! All are welcome!

LIGHT CARDIO ON MONDAYS

MONDAY AT 9:30 AM BEGINNING DECEMBER 4

There will be a new exercise class offering on Monday mornings at 9:30 a.m. beginning December 4. The class starts with light cardio and is followed by breathing and stretches and ends with laughter yoga and relaxation.

It incorporates interval training to help improve cardiovascular fitness. Deep breathing exercises are meant to relax the mind and body and open up the lungs. Laughter yoga improves mood, reduces stress and strengthens the immune system. This low-intensity fun class was designed to meet the anatomical, physiological and psychological needs of Seniors.

The first class is free!! Come and try it out! After that, each class will be $5.00. Transportation is available.

WHS CHAMBER SINGERS

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12 AT 1:00 PM

The very talented Westborough High School Chamber Singers will be at the Senior Center on Tuesday, December 12, at 1:00 p.m.. This will be a short performance but an enjoyable one.

Transportation is available. Come and listen to the sounds of the season!

CHRISTMAS MOVIE "THE POLAR EXPRESS"

FRIDAY DECEMBER 8 AT 10:00 AM

Come join us for a Holiday Season gathering on December 8th from 10 am to 12 pm at the Senior Center. Programs include light exercises and a classic Christmas movie, “THE POLAR EXPRESS.” The duration of the movie is 2 hours with Chinese subtitles.

Cookies and hot cocoa will be served
Reservations by noon the day before

CHRISTMAS BRUNCH & GAMES!!

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22 AT 10:00 AM

Come join us for a fun social gathering on December 22nd to celebrate the Holiday Season. Programs include light exercises, Christmas brunch with bacon & pancakes, and holiday-themed games. Refreshments will be served.

Please bring a Christmas gift between $10 and $15 each for the surprise game.

Sign up must be made by Wednesday, December 20

The menu looks great for lunches on Friday this month. Won’t you join us? No shopping, no cooking, no dishes…..sounds tempting! Reservations must be made by 10:00 a.m. the day before. A $3.00 donation is requested.

12/1 – Baked Beans, Hot Dog, Cole Slaw, Hot Dog Roll, Peaches
12/8 – Pot Roast Burgundy, Sour Cream and Chive Mashed Potatoes, Jardiniere Blend Vegetables, Wheat Bread, Tropical Fruit

GRAB’N STAY WITH MUSIC

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6 & DECEMBER 20 AT 11:30 AM

There will be two opportunities to enjoy lunch here and listen to some music while you eat.

12/20 Turkey and TBD

Lunch is served with chips, pickle, cookie and a bottle of water. Cost is $4.00 and reservations MUST be made by noon the day before. We prefer that you not bring your own food to this event. Transportation is available.

BAGELS WITH THE SELECTBOARD

TUESDAY DECEMBER 19 at 9:30 AM

We’re giving you an opportunity to speak directly with a Select Board member on Tuesday, December 19, at 9:30 a.m. Each month one Board member will be here to sit and talk with you over a cup of coffee and a bagel. You can ask questions and let them know of your concerns.

There is no charge and transportation is available. Please let us know if you are coming so we have enough bagels!

FUN WITH FLOWERS

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 20 AT 10:00 AM

Join Andrea Little on Wednesday, December 20, at 10:00 a.m. to create your own beautiful floral arrangement for the holiday. This has become an annual tradition here ! Seating is limited so don’t delay.

An Adult Respite ProgramA program for Westborough Seniors with Memory Loss and Respite for their Caregivers.

Saturday Sunshine provides a structured, quality time for your loved one with memory loss. Professional staff will provide lunch and engaging activities for those who require some supervision.
