CLASSICAL MUSIC APPRECIATION
Tuesdays at 10:00 am
Robert Oaken offers his Classical Music listening series on three Tuesdays each month. Check the calendar for specific days. The program will run about 2 hours. Each week you will experience a different composer, with music, stories and, sometimes, film. There is no charge but please call to register.
PRESERVE YOUR MEMORIES
Tuesdays at 11:00 am
Please join Dr. Mary Botticelli Christensen for a four part class to help you capture and preserve your memories. Each class will end with a piece of memoir completed. All stories will be held in strictest confidence to protect the writers’ privacy. No previous writing experience is necessary. Please come join the group!!
The class will meet on Tuesday mornings, from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Senior Center starting June 4, 11, 18, and 25. Cost is $25.00 for the month or $7.00 per session.
Dr. Christensen has 45 years of teaching experience and the last 10 years has focused on memoir writing. She will provide a safe and encouraging space for you to learn or advance your writing.

GENERATION BRIDGES
Wednesdays at 2:45 pm
The students from Westborough High School will be back for the popular Generation Bridges program starting on every Wednesday at 2:45 p.m.
Generation Bridges is a conversation group that puts students and Seniors together for an hour to “just talk” to each other. No electronics , just regular conversation about your world and theirs. This is an enlightening and fun group that has been at the Senior Center for several years. The students are looking forward to meeting you and talking with you.
There is no sign up or cost. Transportation is available.
PIANO CLASSES
Wednesdays at 2:00 pm
Piano classes are held on Wednesday afternoons at 2 pm and Dennis Deyo is the instructor. These are open, group classes so you can come in and begin at any time.
Each student receives group and individualized instruction to help play their own music. You will be responsible for paying for your instruction book and each class is $5.
If you are interested in learning to play, please call the Senior Center for information.
SPANISH I CLASSES
Wednesdays at 12:30 pm
SPANISH II CLASSES
Mondays at 10:30 am
Carmen Lara-Repetto is teaching a conversational Spanish class on Mondays at 10:30 am. and Wednesdays at 12:30 pm
New and returning students are welcome. These classes are taught in a ten-week session and cost $40, or $5 per class if you prefer.
Call the Senior Center for additional information and to sign up. Payment for the ten-week price is due prior to classes starting.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

Carmen Lara-Repetto is also offering an ESL class for those Seniors whose first language is not English and would like to improve their English speaking and understanding.
The classes will be held at the Senior Center on Thursday afternoons at 1 pm.

LUNCH AND LEARN

Beginning Spring, 2023, Lunch and Learn will be offered once a month, thanks to the generosity of the DoubleTree Hotel. Speakers will present timely information on health-related issues, safety concerns, current events, and others. There is no charge to attend but you must have a reservation. Check the calendar for specific schedule.
CURRENT EVENTS WITH HARVEY

If you would like to have a conversation with someone other than the TV and about something other than politics, join Harvey Elman on alternate Monday mornings (see calendar) at 10:00 am Harvey collects interesting stories from many sources that are relevant to the world today and leads you in discussion. There is no charge and transportation is available. All are welcome, but leave the blue or red home!
BREAKFAST WITH THE CHIEF

A monthly Breakfast with the Westborough Police Chief is served on the third Tuesday morning of each month at 8:30 am. The Chief brings local town department heads, public safety, and state legislative representatives to talk about issues involving our community.
Cost for breakfast is $4.
TECH ASSISTANCE WITH ASSABET VALLEY STUDENTS

After a much too long hiatus, the Computer Students from Assabet Valley Tech High School will be back at the Senior Center on Thursday, April 27, starting at 10:30 a.m. They can help you with your phone, laptop, tablet, email, etc. Please be sure that you know the password to access your device.
