The mission of the Westborough Council on Aging and Senior Center is to promote social, recreational and educational activities and provide advocacy and assistance to Westborough’s Senior Citizens and their families. Through the many programs and services delivered through the Westborough Senior Center, the department has direct contact with more than a third of Westborough’s population over the age of 60.
The Senior Center is an integral part of the community, providing a dedicated space to serve the interests and needs of Westborough’s 55+ residents. Its presence serves as a reminder that no matter your age, you are a valued member of the community. The goal is to provide programs and services that: encourage connection, provide access to information/services and resources, assist with a variety of needs, nourish body, mind and spirit, while educating, supporting and celebrating older adults.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SIGN IN!
It has been nearly two years since we started using the MySeniorCenter sign-in at the Senior Center. Most of you are doing a great job scanning in. However, we are noticing a trend that people are not bothering to sign in for their classes and programs. It is very important that you sign-in, using your key tag, when you come into the building.
The town needs to know that the Senior Center is used and that we have many participants for our activities. We realize that sometimes for the big programs there may be a line. However, it only takes a couple seconds to scan, press and end your sign-in. If you are coming for activities and have not yet signed up for a key tag, please do so today. There is no charge and it is very easy to do. If you have questions, please, just ask.
If you forget or lose your key tag, you can still sign in. Touch the top right button “I don’t have my tag.” It will ask you for your name –TYPE YOUR FIRST NAME as it was written on the key tag form. It will then ask you for your phone number –TYPE THE PHONE NUMBER THAT YOU USED ON THE KEY TAG FORM. If it matches with what’s on file, it will then let you in.
